Day 3 of the 2025 Palomino World Series

Day 3 Game 14: Youngstown, OH (13) vs Meoqui, Mexico (11)
Youngstown, OH will play their next game (Game 16) tonight at 8:30pm against New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Game 15: Palmview, Texas (9) vs Laredo, Texas (5)
Laredo, Texas lost to Palmview, Texas 9-5 on Sunday.

Palmview, Texas opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two doubles. Palmview, Texas first got on the board when ERIC ALONSO doubled, scoring one run.

Palmview, Texas added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after JULIO SIERRA JR walked, LARRY GUZMAN scored after tagging up, SANTIAGO HERNANDEZ scored after tagging up, and TEODORO ESTUDILLO tripled to center field, each scoring one run.

ANGEL VILLAFRANCA VILLARREAL pitched three and one-third innings in relief for Laredo, Texas. The pitcher gave up three hits and two runs while striking out six and walking four. RONALDO LORENZO stepped on the bump first for Laredo, Texas. The pitcher allowed five hits and six runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking two. Game 16: New Taipei City, Taiwan (8) vs Youngstown, OH (4)
HUNG-JEN YEH drove in four runs on three hits to lead New Taipei City, Taiwan past Youngstown, OH 8-4 on Sunday. HUNG-JEN YEH singled in the sixth inning, scoring three runs, and doubled in the seventh inning, scoring two.

New Taipei City, Taiwan rallied for the victory despite trailing 4-0 in the second.
Youngstown, OH got on the board in the first inning after RYAN PIEKUTOSKI hit a solo home run to left field.

A double by THOMAS KAPANOWSKI, and a single by NOAH TROGGIO helped Youngstown, OH extend their early lead in the second.

New Taipei City, Taiwan tied the game in the top of the sixth thanks to a single by HUNG-JEN YEH, and a double by CHENG-YU LIU.

New Taipei City, Taiwan jumped into the lead in the top of the seventh when a wild pitch scored one run, CHEN-JIE CHEN scored after tagging up, and HUNG-JEN YEH doubled, scoring two runs.

LI-CHUN YEN opened the game for New Taipei City, Taiwan. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and three runs over one inning, striking out none and walking none. KYLE GILSON opened the game for Youngstown, OH. The hurler gave up nine hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking three. SHENG-JIE TSAI, KUAN-YU YU, TZU-YEN HSU, CHUN-HSIANG YANG, and CHU-EN SHIH each came on in relief for New Taipei City, Taiwan and shutdown Youngstown, OH.

PAXTON CZUBEK drove in four runs on two hits to lead Azusa, CA past Palmview, Texas 14-0 on Sunday. PAXTON CZUBEK hit a home run to left field in the fifth inning, scoring three runs, and doubled in the fourth inning, scoring one.

ANTHONY FLORES started things off strong for Azusa, CA as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Azusa, CA's pitchers struck out eight on the way to victory.

A double by PAXTON CZUBEK put Azusa, CA on the board in the top of the fourth.

Azusa, CA scored six runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. MOISES AGUIRRE drew a walk, scoring one run, GABRIEL GUERRERO doubled, scoring two runs, and PAXTON CZUBEK homered to left field, scoring three runs.
