Day 2 of the 2024 Mustang World Series
Game 5: Marion, IL-4 v West Raleigh, NC-19
West Raleigh, NC defeated Marion, IL 19-4.
West Raleigh, NC got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Nicco John P grounded out, and Johnathan Christopher M walked, each scoring one run.
Marion, IL made the score 4-2 in the top of the second after Matthew Gordon S drew a walk, scoring one run, and Reed Jaxson C singled, scoring three runs.
West Raleigh, NC tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a tag up by Gavin John, and a ground out by Grayson Wayne.
Nicco John stepped on the bump first for West Raleigh, NC. Michael Raymond S started the game for Marion, IL. Myles Allan appeared in relief for West Raleigh, NC.

Game 7: Maracay, Venezuela-2 v Tijuana, Mexico-3
Tijuana, Mexico beat Maracay, Venezuela 3-2.
The game was tied at two in the bottom of the fifth when a wild pitch scored one run. Both teams were strong on the bump. Tijuana, Mexico pitchers struck out one, while Maracay, Venezuela sat down four.
Maracay, Venezuela opened the scoring in the first after one run scored on another play. Gareth G walked, which helped Tijuana, Mexico tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. A fielder's choice by Gareth gave Tijuana, Mexico the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third. Rampini Guanchez D grounded out, which helped Maracay, Venezuela tie the game at two in the top of the fifth.
Pacheco Carrasco G began the game pitching for Maracay, Venezuela. Jorge F began the game for Tijuana, Mexico.
Rampini Guanchez led Maracay, Venezuela with one run batted in. Padron Lugo D, Acosta Garcia A, Paiva Scrofani G, Herrera Garcia A, and Marin Brito D each collected one hit for Maracay, Venezuela.
Tijuana, Mexico didn't commit a single error in the field.
