Don Simon Honored

Don Simon was honored by the West Zone for 30 years of service to PONY Baseball and Softball. The award was presented to Don and Hawaii State Representative Gwen Earl by Chairman of the Board and West Zone Vice President Steve Workman. While presenting the award, Steve, President and CEO Abraham Key, NorCal Division Director Rob Lindsey, and SoCal Division Director Chris Gobel recognized Don for the NorCal Official of the Year Award from the California Coaches Association.

On June 17, 2023, The California Coaches Association, the only all sports coaches association in California, awarded Don Simon the highest honor for an official. He was selected from several coaches and administrators for his work in three California State High School Sections and youth sports primarily PONY Baseball.
